The Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Working Group has developed a white paper on the essential role of the dental team in reducing antibiotic resistance, with a supporting online library of resources. Given that dentists prescribe almost 10% of all antibiotics, oral health professionals need to be involved in the development and implementation of national action plans to counter antibiotic resistance.
