The UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai) will run from 4 to 6 February 2020 at the Dubai International Conference and Exhibition Centre. AEEDC Dubai is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai, minister of finance, and president of the Dubai Health Authority.
AEEDC Dubai plans to welcome more than 55,000 visitors and participants from 155 countries. Close to 200 internationally recognized speakers will offer their insights on trending topics in dentistry. The conference features 173 scientific sessions that will highlight key issues in dentistry and offer insight into the latest treatment advances.
The event will cover an overall space of 89,520 square meters with over 3,000 industry exhibits representing 4,000 international brands. The booths will feature demonstrations of dental products and showcase the latest technologies and breakthroughs in the dentistry field. Eighteen country pavilions will also be present, with the largest participation coming from China, Italy, Germany, and South Korea.
For the second year in a row, the 24th edition will feature a series of “AEEDC Dubai Stars” panel discussions on life and dentistry, entertainment shows, and competitions. The program will bring together key figures, celebrities, and influencers who will share their success stories and experiences in the field.
AEEDC Dubai 2020 scientific activities
AEEDC Dubai 2020 will feature scientific activities and competitions, including the popular AEEDC Dubai Student Competition and the Poster Presentation Competition.
Global Scientific Dental Alliance (GSDA) meeting
AEEDC Dubai 2020 will host the annual Global Scientific Dental Alliance (GSDA) meeting, bringing together dental bodies, organizations, and individuals to focus on promoting oral health education through dialogue and networking.
Dubai World Dental Meeting (DWDM)
AEEDC Dubai 2020 will host the Dubai World Dental Meeting (DWDM), which will be held from 1 to 3 February 2020 at the Novotel Hotel in Dubai. The meeting will present advanced specialty courses on orthodontics, implantology, and restorative dentistry.
AEEDC Dubai 2020 pre-conference programs
Prior to the AEEDC Dubai conference and exhibition, the 5th AEEDC Dubai World Orthodontic Conference 2020 will be held from 3 to 4 February, exploring the latest research in dentistry.
The 5th AEEDC Dubai World Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Conference 2020 will also be held from 3 to 4 February, bringing together leading international oral and maxillofacial surgery bodies with a focus on the latest methods and approaches towards daily surgical practice in dentistry.
World Federation of Laser Dentistry (WFLD) 2020 Congress
In collaboration with the World Federation of Laser Dentistry (WFLD), AEEDC Dubai will also host the WFLD 2020 Dubai Congress, which will be held from 5 to 6 February at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. This congress will focus on the latest findings in the field of laser dentistry.
